NB800 IoT Router
Published on : Tuesday 30-11--0001
The NB800 Compact Router Series is designed specifically for cost-sensitive connectivity applications in combination with big unit sizes. The focus is therefore on easy integration and remote configuration and management. Features include a 3G/4G cellular/Ethernet gateway and a powerful VPN protocol suite. A hardware shield concept brings additional flexibility to turn the NB800 into an application specific tailored device (OEM) or to follow the technology changes.
Hardware
Fast Ethernet
- Durability makes it ideal for harsh industrial and distributed IoT deployments such as transportation, oil and gas, distribution substations, and industrial automation requiring an Ethernet connection.
Device Management
- Routers often get upgraded or swapped out for some reasons. Standard USB storage drives enable you to recover from hardware failures and disasters. The USB key will either backup a configuration file, restore a configuration file or upgrade the firmware of the device. Scripting allows you to customise the configuration parameters for each device.
Wide Range Power Input
- Integrated 9.6 to 60V DC power input and is designed to withstand hostile environments, including shock, vibration, dust, humidity, electrostatic discharge (ESD) and salty fog.
Bluetooth and BLE
- Bluetooth has become common in computing and consumer product markets. Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) has become common for IOT sensor products. BLE sends small amounts of data, requiring very little energy. 6LoWPAN allows Bluetooth Smart sensors to access the Internet directly.
Integrated WAN Module
- Reliable machine-to-machine (M2M) communication is a prerequisite for a successful Internet of Things (IoT) deployment. Soldered down components increases reliability by reducing malfunction due to shocks, corrosion and other environmental factors.
Micro SIM
- Micro SIM with the ability to automatically configure a modem carrier based on the inserted SIM.
- Powered by ARM Processors
- Powered by ARM Processors, the most widely used embedded RISC solution in the world. Mobile devices like the iPhone, iPad, and Android phones – along with many other smaller IOT devices are powered by ARM.
Hostile Environments
- Designed to withstand hostile environments including shock, vibration, dust, and humidity. Devices can be deployed in many different environments where space, heat dissipation, and low-power consumption are critical factors.
Open Platform
- NetModule routers are designed with an open platform to build a highly secure, reliable, and scalable field network infrastructure. Performance allows customers to take advantage of broadband network speeds while running highly secure, concurrent data, voice, video, and wireless services.
